1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy describes how Centauri Music LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Florida, United States, doing business as Obras sin Terminar (referred to herein as "we," "us," "the Platform," or "the Operator"), collects, uses, stores, and shares the personal information of individuals who visit or use the website astridceleste.com and all associated subdomains and services (the "Site").

2. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to the entire Site, which comprises two areas with differing levels of data collection:
a) The public site of the artist Astrid Celeste. Informational pages, discography, store, and editorial content. Any person may browse these without creating an account.
b) The Obras sin Terminar platform. A marketplace where registered individuals publish, license, buy, and sell unfinished musical works. It requires a user account and, for sellers, identity verification through our payment processor.
The sections below indicate which provisions apply to each area.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 From All Site Visitors
When you browse any page of the Site, our servers and infrastructure providers automatically log:
- IP address

- Pages visited, date, time, and duration of visit
- Referring page from which you arrived at the Site
- Device identifiers and technical session data
This information is used to operate the Site, ensure its security, diagnose errors, and understand aggregate usage patterns.
3.2 From Those Listening to Works on the Platform
Playback of Works does not require an account. We log which Works are played and how frequently. If you are logged in, this record is associated with your account; otherwise, it is retained without linkage to personal identity. This information is displayed in aggregate to Songwriters as statistics for their Works.
3.3 From Those Who Create an Account
Upon registering on the platform, we collect:
- Email address
- Password, stored solely as a cryptographic hash and never in plain text
- Username
- Account creation date, date and version of Terms of Service acceptance, and login records
3.4 From Those Who Complete a Public Profile
If you choose to complete your profile, we collect and publish on your public artist page:
- Artist name
- Biography
- City
- Profile photograph
- Links to social media and external sites you provide
You control what profile information you make public and may modify or delete it at any time from your account.
3.5 From Those Who Upload Works (Songwriters)
When publishing a Work on the platform, we collect:
- The audio files you upload
- Title and description of the Work
- Price set by you
- Your declaration of ownership of the Work
- Technical audio metadata, such as duration and format
- Review, publication, sales, and earnings history for each Work
3.6 From Those Who Purchase Works (Buyers)
Upon acquiring a license, we collect:
- Record of the Work acquired, date, and price paid
- The license document generated for that transaction
- Download history of the acquired file
3.7 Payment Information
We do not store card numbers, bank account numbers, or financial credentials on our systems.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates. When you make a purchase, you enter your payment details directly on a page hosted by Stripe. When you sell, Stripe directly collects the information necessary to verify your identity and deposit your earnings, which may include legal name, date of birth, address, tax identification number, and bank account details.
We receive from Stripe only: confirmation that a payment was completed, the last four digits of the payment method, the verification status of your payout account, and an account identifier. Stripe's privacy policy is available at https://stripe.com/privacy, which we recommend you review.
3.8 Communications
We retain emails you send us and records of transactional emails we send you, such as sale confirmations, Work approval or rejection notices, and platform notifications.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Operate the platform: create and manage your account, publish your Works, process purchases and sales, generate license documents, calculate and distribute earnings.
- Perform our contract with you: deliver acquired files, maintain license records, facilitate payments between buyers and songwriters.
- Communicate with you: send transactional notifications essential to the service, respond to your inquiries, and, if you opt in, platform updates.
- Review content: the platform Administrator listens to every Work before publication to verify compliance with content standards.
- Prevent fraud and abuse: detect duplicate accounts, identity impersonation, payment disputes, and uses contrary to the Terms of Service.
- Comply with legal obligations: respond to requests from competent authorities, maintain tax and accounting records, address intellectual property claims.
- Improve the Site: analyze aggregate usage patterns to fix errors and improve the experience.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not display third-party advertising. We do not use your information for targeted advertising.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
For users in jurisdictions that require it, including the European Union, the United Kingdom, and certain Latin American countries, we process your personal information on the following bases:
- Performance of a contract: most processing is necessary to provide the service you requested by creating an account or completing a transaction.
- Legal obligation: retention of tax records, response to legal requests, compliance with financial regulations applicable to our payment processor.
- Legitimate interest: Site security, fraud prevention, service improvement, provided your rights and freedoms do not override these interests.
- Consent: for non-essential communications, which you may withdraw at any time from your account.
6. With Whom We Share Your Information
We share information only with the providers necessary to operate the Site, each under contractual obligations of confidentiality and limited use:
| Provider | Function | Data Received |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe, Inc. | Payment processing, seller identity verification, payouts | Payment and identity data entered directly by you; email address; transaction amount and description |

| Railway Corp. | Hosting of the application and database | All account and activity data |
| Resend, Inc. | Sending of transactional emails | Email address and content of notifications |

By legal obligation: we may disclose information where required by law, court order, or a request from a competent authority, or to protect our rights, the safety of users, or the integrity of the Site.
In the event of a business transfer: if Centauri Music LLC were acquired, merged, or sold substantially all of its assets, user information could be transferred to the successor entity, which would become subject to this Policy.
7. International Transfers
Our servers and providers are located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed there. By using the Site, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer.
For users in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, transfers are safeguarded by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and by equivalent mechanisms adopted by our providers, which you may review in their respective privacy policies.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information while your account is active and for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described:
- Account and profile data: until you delete your account.
- Published Works: until you withdraw them or delete your account.
- Transaction and license records: retained permanently even after account deletion, because they document rights acquired by third parties and are necessary for tax and accounting obligations. You are expressly informed of this before deleting your account.
- Works rejected during review: the audio file is deleted immediately upon rejection; we retain only the administrative record of the rejection.
- Security and access logs: up to twelve (12) months.
- Transactional emails: up to twenty-four (24) months.

California residents: in addition to the above, you have the right to know the categories of personal information collected and with whom it is shared, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Florida residents: the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (Fla. Stat. §§ 501.701 et seq.) recognizes rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability, which we address as described in this section.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to individuals under eighteen (18) years of age, and we do not permit them to create accounts. The platform involves financial transactions and the execution of license agreements, which require full legal capacity.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under thirteen (13) years of age, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it immediately. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us at contact@astridceleste.com.
11. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information: encryption in transit via TLS, passwords stored as hashes, audio files accessed via short-lived signed links, isolation of sensitive credentials, and the fact that financial data never passes through our systems.
No system is completely secure. If we detect a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law, including the Florida Information Protection Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.171).
